INET Terminals and Printing is
an easy-to-use professional software package which allows PC's running
DOS and Windows to connect to one or more TCP/IP hosts and their printers;
(including PCs, minis and mainframes) on a LAN or WAN. FTP and some HTTP
services are also included.
The main feature of INET is its comprehensive
terminal emulation including VT100/220/330, ANSI, SCO ANSI, Linux console,
IBM 3270/8/9/E, IBM 5250/3179, D211, HP700/92, Sperry UTS60, Burroughs T27/TD830/ET1100,
Adds VP and Wyse50. A variety of printing options are supported, including
LPD/LPR, socket/IP, pass-thru or back printing, session bound 3287, GDI, RTF,
raw and some propriety extensions. INET for Windows can
be linked to third party software via COM/Automation.
INET is a South African designed, developed
and supported product that adheres to international standards for various
terminal emulators, TCP/IP, Telnet and FTP.
The standard INET package consists of INET for
Windows (32-bit also known as Winet), INET for DOS, INET for Windows (16-bit)
and RINET (TSR for DOS).
Though INET contains a powerhouse of tools,
it is priced to suit users needing only a few of the facilities provided. For
specific needs, INET is sold in different configurations.
